COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client, Innovalor, is a research-based consultancy and software company with an award-winning (Accenture Innovation Award, 2016) mobile identity verification software solution called ReadID.

ReadID, consists of two parts:

ReadID MRZmakes it possible to scan the Machine Readable Zone of passports and other identity documents. This uses our own machine-learning based optical character recognition technology.
ReadID NFCverifies the authenticity with of passports and identity cards by reading the RFID chip in the documents via the NFC reader on smartphones.

ReadID is integrated by their clients in their own applications and back-end systems through APIs. ReadID is available in three versions: client-only, client-server and SaaS.

Your Job:

Develop ReadID SDK for Android or iOS, both MRZ and NFC functionalities;
In case of Android, you are an expert Java developer;
Contribute to API documentation and automated testing;
Help developers working for their customers to best use the ReadID API;
Develop demo apps to demonstrate ReadID to potential customers;
Develop for the public ReadID demo app for the Play Store or App Store;
Develop for ready-to-use / white-label apps;
Work with technology partners that have supplementary products, such as facial recognition;
Contribute to the roadmap for ReadID;
Work with and for customers from all over the world.

You can combine mobile development with server-side development if you like.

What you will bring?

Experience developing native Android and/or iOS apps;
A university (MSc) or applied university/college (HBO/BSc) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Security or similar;
You speak Englishl;
A solid mobile development background in Android and/or iOS;
You are security minded;
Experience with cross-platform frameworks such Cordova, Xamarin or React Native are appreciated, since their customers sometimes use these;
Experience with Renderscript, Kotlin, ObjectiveC or Metal is appreciated;
Experience with UX design is appreciated;
The position is open to senior, medior, as well as junior candidates.

Mobile Developer (Android/iOS) - requirements

+3 years of a solid mobile development background.
Preferably you can do both iOS and Android, or both mobile and server-side development.
Bachelor´s degree in Informatics, computer security or related
Good communication skills in English
Availability to relocate to Enschede (The Netherlands)
