The first and most important thing to arrange is a comfortable home. We will assist you in finding your way with relevant local parties like real estate agents, rental housing agencies and short-stay companies.
If you earn money while living in The Netherlands you are required to pay taxes. And the Dutch tax system, like in most developed countries, is anything but simple. We will help you in applying for a mandatory social security number and point you in the right direction for more complex issues like filling out your tax return.
The 30% reimbursement ruling (better known as the 30% ruling) is a tax advantage for highly skilled migrants moving to the Netherlands. We will apply for the ruling at the tax authorities.
Health insurance is compulsory for all people who live or work in the Netherlands. EU nationals who are working in the Netherlands must take out Dutch health insurance within four months of registering at their Dutch city hall. We will assist you in the application process.
We will assist in arranging a basic Dutch bank account, including Internet and Mobile Banking.
We will provide you with a free train card that will allow you to travel throughout the Netherlands, both for commuting and during your free time. Buying or renting a bicycle in the bigger cities is also very useful.
To ease you into your new surroundings and meet new people we organise all sorts of fun events and activities.
